The POSCA PC-1M set covers eight foundational colors in an extra-fine 0.7–1.0 mm tip, suited to detail work — fine outlines, card-making borders, miniature model painting, or small text — rather than filling in larger areas. The tip core is a rigid polymer that resists fraying or spreading under pressure, which matters more at this narrow width since a softer tip would splay out and widen the line over time.

Like the rest of the POSCA range, it's filled with an opaque water-based acrylic paint rather than ink, so it covers dark backgrounds in one pass instead of mixing into a muddy tone, and it doesn't bleed through notebook paper the way alcohol markers do. Before first use, the marker needs a firm shake to mix an internal ball with the paint, then a bit of priming on scrap card to start the flow.
