The Sakura Koi 24-Pack builds on the line's core 12 colors with 12 additional shades — pastel mid-tones, deeper blues, and earth tones — giving more range for shading and gradient work without having to mix colors by hand. Each pen has a nylon brush tip that holds a fine point under light pressure and spreads to a broader stroke under more, up to about 4.0 mm.

The ink is designed to be mixed directly on the page: touching the tips of two different pens together for a few seconds transfers ink between them, letting you blend two colors into a gradient rather than working with a hard line where they meet. The set ships in a clear plastic desk tray instead of a pouch, so all 24 pens stay visible and easy to grab by color.
