The Pilot V Board Master Bullet Tip 5-pack uses a direct liquid ink delivery system instead of the felt-reservoir design found in most whiteboard markers. Ink flows straight from a liquid supply to the tip, so the line stays consistent for the life of the marker rather than fading, skipping, or needing a shake partway through a session. The ink itself is dense enough to stay legible from a distance, which matters in a classroom or large meeting room where people are reading the board from the back of the space.

It wipes off a whiteboard cleanly with a dry cloth, without leaving ghosting or a smudgy film behind — the basic requirement for any whiteboard marker, but one this ink holds up on consistently over repeated use. The tip is a 6.0 mm polyester bullet point that holds its shape under pressure, giving a steady 2.3 mm line whether you're writing lightly or pressing harder, and the barrel is clear so you can see how much ink is left at a glance.

When a marker runs low, it can be refilled with P-WMRF refill cartridges instead of being thrown away, and the marker bodies themselves are made from 91% recycled plastic as part of Pilot's Begreen program.
