This 3-pack Pilot FriXion Ball gel ink refill replaces the ink cartridge in any standard FriXion Ball, FriXion Clicker, or FriXion Pro pen body, giving you three extra-fine 0.5 mm gel ink cores in one pack, all in the same color. Each cartridge is filled with Pilot's thermo-sensitive gel ink: writing applied to the page can be erased completely using the friction tip built into FriXion pens, which generates enough heat — around 60°C — to turn the ink transparent. There's no eraser dust and no tearing of paper fibers, and the same spot can be written and erased over repeatedly.

The 0.5 mm tip produces a 0.25 mm line, making this refill suited to detailed planner entries, tight grid layouts, and dense note-taking where a thin, consistent line keeps small text legible.
