The Moleskine Art Collection Large Sketchbook is a professional daily studio sketchbook for graphic illustrators, concept designers, and fine-art sketchers who need a heavier-duty surface than standard notebook paper. The 165 g/m² ivory stock provides a dense, light-grabbing tooth that handles bold charcoal, hard technical graphite, heavy cross-hatched felt-tip inks, and deep shading without bleeding, feathering, or surface tearing under repeated erasing. At 104 pages the volume is optimized for sustained illustration work rather than general note-taking.

The rigid black hardcover opens completely flat at 180° and acts as a stable lap desk for standing and travel drawing. Textile ribbon bookmark, elastic closure strap, and expandable rear document wallet included.

The Art Sketchbook stock at 165 g/m² is more than double the weight, engineered specifically for repeated erasing, deep shading, and heavy pigment application without surface breakdown.
  • Is this sketchbook suitable for light marker work alongside dry media? Yes for fine felt-tip markers and light ink pens. Heavy alcohol-based markers may show slight bleed-through on the 165 g/m² cellulose stock — for heavy marker-dominant workflows, a smooth marker-specific paper is recommended alongside the sketchbook.
