- Is the plain edition suitable for charcoal and dry media sketching? Yes. The 70 g/m² ivory stock provides light tooth suitable for pencil, charcoal, and fine ink lines. For heavy dry media layering or repeated erasing, a heavier stock — such as the 120 g/m² Moleskine Art Sketch Album — is recommended for better surface durability.
