For over twenty years, Stockholm has been decorated by graffiti writers. For the first time, the people behind the graffiti are now portrayed. In the book 1207, more than 50 of Stockholm's most active and legendary graffiti writers are presented. For three years, the photographer Torkel Sjöstrand has photographed them and followed them on walks through the city. From Spånga to Norsborg, Södertälje to Ekerö, suburb of inner city. In tunnels and on train tracks or with magnificent views of the city. Graffiti writers are fascinated by places that many miss. 1207, a documentation is a small group of people who put their own prosperity at risk for an art form that is under constant siege by politicians and orderly powers. We are offered a different Stockholm depiction and a unique document by Stockholm's graffiti artists. All the writers have also written their tag in the book. 1207 is the police's crime code for damage caused by graffiti in Sweden.
