The Caran d'Ache Neocolor II 40-set is a professional studio palette covering a wide visual range — from intense primary values and rich earth tones through to soft pastel variations and deep industrial greys. Forty colors give enough breadth to handle complex multi-layer compositions, sgraffito scraping techniques, and large-format watercolor washes without constantly mixing transitional tones from scratch.

The velvety, non-powdery texture delivers strong coverage and responds fluidly to both finger smudging and wet brush manipulation. CE EN71 and AP safety certified for non-toxic studio use. Built for serious multi-media artists and design professionals who need a versatile, reliable centerpiece palette. Housed in a heavy-duty protective metal tin with interior cushioning to prevent crayon fracturing.
