The Pilot Permawash fabric marker is a permanent fine-point marker built for writing or drawing directly on fabric — labeling school uniforms, workwear, or canvas, or fine line work on cloth that needs to hold up through regular washing. The 1.0 mm polyester bullet tip moves cleanly across textured weaves without skipping, and the ink is a waterproof, odor-free, jet black laundry formula.

Wash resistance depends on heat-setting the mark after it dries: press a hot iron over it for about a minute on the cotton setting, around 160°C. This locks the pigment into the fabric fibers and noticeably improves how well the mark survives repeated laundry cycles compared to leaving it unset.
